TOPIC: The Maryland Chamber Discusses New Legislation

The 2024 General Assembly Session is now in the books.

Join us on Wednesday, May 8th, and hear from Andrew Griffin, Sr. Vice President of Government Affairs for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Andrew will summarize the legislation that passed this Session that will impact businesses and nonprofits. Andrew and the Maryland Chamber team worked hard to try and stop legislation that was not friendly towards the private sector. In some instances, they were successful. However, many pieces of legislation that passed, and that will become law, will make it even more challenging to effectively and efficiently run a profitable business in Maryland.

Andrew will also look ahead to the 2025 General Assembly Session, as some of the legislation that did not pass this year will be back in 2025 to be heard again.

We hope you can join us as we work to help protect the investment you have made in your business.
