About Bev

As an Owner since 2008, Bev Stitely is committed to ensuring a positive business experience. She sets the standard for tax expertise since starting in the industry in 1991.  She enjoys sharing her passion with her staff, as well as various business and community organizations that have requested her as a public speaker for various tax related topics.

Proactive tax planning is an option available exclusively by Bev for the purpose of helping clients find significant savings before the tax deadline approaches. Clients that have implemented Bev's tax planning strategies have saved tens of thousand of tax dollars, legally!

Bev's interest in technology has helped keep Saunders Tax & Accounting progressing with the rate of technological advances.  Virtual appointments, online document signing and bill paying as well as secure client portals for document retrieval are just a few technological components added for client convenience.

Bev is an active member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, is recognized as an Advanced Certified Profit First Professional, and is also an Enrolled Agent since 1997. (An Enrolled Agent is an individual licensed by the IRS after passing a difficult multi-day examination and rigorous background check thereby demonstrating technical competence in the area of taxation.)

Bev has been recognized as a Nominee for the Nation's 2014 Tax Coach of the Year award as well as's 2014 Bestseller for her book "Why Didn't My CPA Tell Me That?"

She oversees the training of her staff by developing and teaching basic and advanced tax training courses. Additionally, she has written several training class curriculums for national training forums.

Bev loves spending time with her husband, their two sons and their wives.  She especially enjoys spoiling her grandchildren.
