About Angie:

Angie Detrick is the Business Services Representative at the Western Maryland Consortium, a workforce development agency offering free services to Western Maryland residents, as well as businesses.

She has been with the organization since 2016, serving in different roles over the years. Angie started her journey with the Western Maryland Consortium as a jobseeker and considers herself to be the organization’s biggest advocate. She is committed to making sure that others know about the services, assistance and life-changing support that the organization provides.

She has been a Summer Youth Counselor, Career Counselor, and currently Business Services Representative. In her current role, Angie connects with the business community, providing awareness of the specialized services that the Western Maryland Consortium has to offer, including grant funding that can be utilized to assist businesses with enhancing the skills of current employees and with workforce recruitment.
