About Kalim: 

Kalim Johnson is a faith driven entrepreneur, community advocate, storyteller, and co owner of Juniper Cafe in Hagerstown, Maryland. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Kalim has spent more than two decades in sales, marketing, business development, and community leadership.

Known for his authentic voice and passion for helping others, he uses business, media, and storytelling to inspire personal growth, resilience, and positive change. Through Juniper Cafe, he has built more than a restaurant, creating a gathering place focused on community, encouragement, and connection.

Kalim is the creator of initiatives such as You Got This, The Local Buzz Blueprint, and several books, documentaries, and stage productions that explore faith, culture, personal responsibility, and transformation. Whether speaking to entrepreneurs, mentoring youth, producing creative projects, or serving customers, his mission remains the same: to shine light, inspire hope, and help people become the best version of themselves.
