About Bernadette:
Bernadette Wagner, Founder and CEO of Prime Time for Women, Inc. is passionate about living life to the fullest, empowering women and combating ageism wherever it exists. Prime Time for Women addresses the well documented negative impact of loneliness and ageism on women in the second half of life. Through innovative, research-based programs and services, Prime Time for Women challenges negative stereotypes of aging and improves the physical, mental, and emotional health of women over 50 by increasing opportunities for positive social interactions.
Abundant research on the health benefits of positive social interaction confirmed what Bernadette long suspected: when women get together, they are happier, healthier, and better positioned to contribute to their communities. Through a collaboration with Antietam Broadband and generous sponsors, including Meritus Health, Hagerstown Community College and Fahrney Keedy Home & Village, Bernadette hosted Prime Time For Women TV for three years. She regularly presents to community groups on the health benefits of positive social interactions, maintains a robust website, facilitates expert led workshops and offers free community-wide, topic-specific meet ups.
