TOPIC: Power of Positive Impact
With Joshua B. Pedersen, Senior Director of 211 at United Way Worldwide
Worldwide and locally, nonprofit organizations promote economic development through both consumerism and partnerships, while bridging gaps in communities that may otherwise be left unassisted. Join us Wednesday, December 6th, to hear from Joshua Pedersen, Senior Director of 211 at United Way Worldwide, to discuss:
- The history of nonprofit work and the current landscape of nonprofit providers.
- The "why" behind nonprofit work and their impact today.
- The synergy of how nonprofits, government and business can drive local economies together.
- The role of volunteers and philanthropy in quality of life in our community.
