Coffee & Connections

Friday, April 26, 2024 (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) (EDT)

Description

Start your day with a little networking at the Chamber of Commerce office during our popular morning mixer!

Several times throughout the year, we select a Chamber member to speak about their organization during the mixer. We also feature work from artists affiliated with the Washington County Arts Council around our F&M Trust Training Room. Refreshments are also provided monthly! Keep reading to discover what this month's mixer will have in store for you.

This month's featured Chamber member is Stone House Urban Winery

Who are we? Washington County residents who love our community, love working hard, love giving back and of course, love wine. Passion, detail, patience and fun are all necessary ingredients and skills to make great wine. These traits fuel these women in their lives and their incredible partnership! Known throughout the community lovingly as Lorie Dixon and Laurie Chrzanowski these two women pair together like a good wine and a good meal. They approach their business professionally, passionately, respectfully and with a willingness to assist the Community of Washington County as they can.

At Coffee and Connections on April 26th you'll be hearing from Assistant Winemaker, McKenzie Edmonds, and Tasting Room Manager, Crystal Frazier! They'll be sharing about upcoming events, festivals, and our exclusive wine club. They look forward to speaking about the journey Stone House Urban Winery has taken in the past year, as well as what's growing on the vine for the year to come!

BISFA Digital Photography Seniors will have their artwork displayed at the mixer this month.

About the Instructor, Mark Youngblood:

Everybody has a story…

Mark’s started with a high school graduation gift of a camera. He had every intention of going to college to study engineering, but his new camera gave him a new passion. Changing his major to Art, Mark studied at Shepherd University with a focus in Photography. After college, Mark worked for various publications as a freelance or staff photographer, following dirt track racing and NASCAR, until opening his own studio full time.

As a photography teacher at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts since its opening, Mark shares his love and knowledge of photography. Mark loves teaching his students to use film and to process their own photos. Watching them create their own art is the true gift.

Mark decided early on he wanted to stand out from the rest and wants the same for you; your pictures – your way!

Thank you to the 19405 Emerald Sq. Edward Jones for sponsoring this event!
