The Washington County Sheriff’s Office plays an important role in the safety and quality of life of our community, providing law enforcement, correctional, and judicial services throughout Washington County.

For the business community, public safety and a strong local economy go hand in hand. Businesses, employees, customers, and visitors all benefit from a community where people feel safe and supported. The Sheriff’s Office also works directly within the community through crime prevention, traffic enforcement, community relations, and other public safety efforts.

This forum provides an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates for Washington County Sheriff about their priorities, perspectives, and approaches to important public safety topics impacting our community.

We encourage Chamber members and community leaders to attend, ask questions, stay informed, and gain a better understanding of the candidates before casting their ballots.

Public safety impacts all of us — and an informed business community is an engaged business community.
