About Scott:
Scott Bakka is President of TriFecta Security Solutions (TSS), a veteran owned security consulting company that specializes in providing security services to all types of organizations.
Security services include; vulnerability and risk assessments, CPTED assessments, security grant writing, security system planning and design, project management, active shooter survival training, workplace violence prevention planning, and developing security policies, procedures, and security officer post orders.
He has over 30 years’ experience in physical security, operational security, emergency management planning, and organizational improvement initiatives. He retired in 2020 from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) as the Chief, Security and Emergency Programs Division. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International, a Certified School Security Assessment Specialist and a Certified Security Assessment Specialist with the American Crime Prevention Institute (ACPI), and a Certified Active Shooter Survival Instructor with the A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Program. He also has a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Professional Designation with the National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP).
In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland University College. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.
